Alia Bhatt's recent Instagram post, where she shared a handwritten note received from mother Soni Razdan, will strike a chord to many. The actor found the beautiful note by her bedside. What's a more beautiful thing to wake up to? 'Darling Alia, this is for you to keep by your bedside to read every now and then and get reminded of how much I love you,' reads the note, written on a small piece of paper. This must have made Alia's day. 'One of those days where I miss my mother terribly and find this by my bedside,' she wrote.

Alia, who is absolutely fond of the mother and elder sister Shaheen Bhatt, also wrote a heartfelt note for the latter on World Mental Health Day. 'You have taken something so personal and made it a symbol of strength and empathy,' she wrote. It looks like the actor is traveling away from home for an outdoor schedule. She is presently busy filming for Sadak 2, which marks her first ever collaboration with father Mahesh Bhatt. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
